Continued support and guidance for families
Building strong families through parenting classes, coaching and community fellowship
Our home’s Family Life graduates are offered continuing guidance and support through out AfterCare program and curriculum.
All graduates of our Family Life program can enroll in AfterCare. Staff help ensure a smooth transition from residential living at Bethlehem House to independent living.
The goal of AfterCare is to empower women to sustain economic indenpendence while also fostering hope, family unification and community building.
What women in AfterCare can expect:
Home visits to check in
Weekly classes in a variety of skills such as meal planning and financial planning
Continued support in addiction recovery, if needed
Access to weekly appointments with mental health therapists
Legal advocacy and assistance
Help applying for college or other educational opportunities
Material goods for the home and family at no cost
Children’s programming
Fellowship and planned outings with other Bethlehem House alumnae
Different women will spend different amounts of time in AfterCare and we are here to support you each step of the way. Our services are available as long as desired. Living independently doesn’t mean you’re on your own. Beyond being a past resident of Bethlehem House, all parenting women in AfterCare share a common desire for continued growth and independence.
“I love the fellowship between us, especially during the holidays.”
